Roast pork sauce

INGREDIENTS

- 4 large apples
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 ½ tablespoons caster sugar

METHOD

Apple sauce

Peel, core and chop the apples. Combine the apples with lemon juice and 2 tablespoons of water in a saucepan.

Bring to the boil over medium to high heat. Reduce heat to medium, cover and cook for 15 minutes, or until apples are soft. Stir in sugar, and allow to cool.

Transfer mixture to a food processer and puree until smooth. Serve warm or cold.

Makes about 1 1/4 cups
